In this piece, I’ve translated the loyal presence of a dog into a visceral, monochromatic blue and purple landscape. Using thick, expressive oil brushstrokes, I focused on the intensity of the gaze and the unique, almost distorted perspective that highlights the creature’s vulnerability and strength.

The deep indigo and violet hues create a moody, nocturnal atmosphere, inviting the viewer to look beyond the domestic form and into the primal, organic essence of the animal.
